it's like he was talking to me
Saturday was not a good day for me where poker was concerned. At the end of that day, I was seriously turned off to poker. I know that it's not enough to keep me away for good, but it still sucked. Then I read Wil's post over at Card Squad. It puts my 24 hours of bad beats into perspective… I can't imagine turning that 24 hours into 14 (or more) days worth of losing. To play good, sound poker and get sucked out on like that hurts. Those are the breaks… but they can sure do a number on an already limited bankroll. As is life. The hardest part is going to be finding the motivation to get back in the game and take the hits. As with life.

Hey Dan – haven't been to your site in awhile. The kids grow sooooooo fast. Let's see – Parker's got a new 'do, glasses (Mil's? or his?), a girlfriend, and big boy underwear. Sophie's too cute for words – what a ladybug.
Way to go on your diet!! Blood work looks good. See you guys the 15th? I think I heard your Dad say you guys would be coming too. Let's play some poker – I've been too lucky lately. We've been playing every Saturday night (for fun – no money). We have to eliminate Larry early – he's dangerous. See you guys soon. Hello to Cyn and kids. Hogs and quiches, Lori
