Today has been bad for my pokering… my AQ and AJ two pairing on the flop and getting sucked out on the river… things like that. If I hadn't won cash money on Thursday, my bankroll at PokerStars would've been sucked dry. (OK, not quite that bad, but it started to feel like it!!!)

But, I decide to give one last shot… in a $1.00+$0.20 SNG. 45 seats to start. For a change, I am playing smart and getting cards to work with. Without going into the nitty gritty details, I finish in 5th winning $4.00. Yay me!

Towards the end, I decided to try my hand at a $10+$1 (w/re-buys). What the heck my luck is turning for the better… I hope. Field started at 1599 seats (180 places pay). At this moment, the field is down to 1249 with 3601 re-buys… prize pool is $52,000. First break is in 8 minutes… and my bladder needs it!

Update: After the first break, we're down to 1170 seats, there have been 4108 re-buys and 969 add-ons. Total prize pool is $66,760. Places 136 through 180 pay $53.40. I just need to make it to the final 20 tables to offset today's lack of luck!

Update Update: And my luck holds up!!! Or, down… I got seriously short stacked and took a shot with pocket 44. Get a caller and he shows 77. Damn. Turn is a 7. Damn Damn! I finished 897/1599… only 80 tables from the money. Maybe next time!
